U14 Boys Rugby progress to finals
Our U14 Boys enjoyed one of their best days earlier this week, topping their group in the Ulster Blitz with wins against Larne, Slemish and Newtonhamilton and a draw with Strangford. U14 Girls qualify for Futsal Finals
Earlier today, our U14 footballers took part in the Integrated Secondary Schools Futsal Cup Tournament, held in the Shankill Leisure Centre. This version of the beautiful game demands high levels of skill and fitness, which both of our boys and girls teams demonstrated across five matches each. Key Stage 4 students learn about strong body, strong mind
A massive thank you to Gerard O’Connor, Physiotherapist at the Donard Family Practice, for his valuable contribution to Children's Mental Health Week at Shimna. This morning, he talked to our students in Years 11 and 12 about the importance of physical health in supporting positive mental health - by staying active, sleeping well and eating well, particularly in the run up to exams.
