Footballing success for Shimna and All Children’s girls

Shimna Year 8 student Mollie Toner and All Children’s Integrated PS P7 student Emily Colhoun are celebrating after winning the U12 Lisburn & Castlereagh Shield. The girls play for Castlewellan Town FC U12's, who are currently undefeated in their league, enjoyed a resounding 8-1 victory in the final against Hillsborough. Both girls love the team aspect of football and have became great friends, along with their team mates from 8 different schools in the local community. The prospects for girls football at Shimna are looking very promising.
