Shimna staff member makes history at cross-country championships

Congratulations to teacher Joanne Mills from our Maths Department who, last weekend, competed at the Inter-Counties Championships held in Wollaton Park, Nottingham. Joanne was part of the Northern Ireland & Ulster Senior Ladies squad, finishing as the team’s fifth scorer. The team finished second out of thirty-two - the first time Northern Ireland & Ulster have won a medal in the event.

Well done to Joanne and her teammates on this magnificent achievement!
