Sixth Form Geographers examine Mournes Gateway Project

Ms Anderson writes: “Our Year 14 Geography class spent the morning with a team of ecologists exploring the potential impacts of the Mournes Gateway Project on our local area. They took on the roles of engineers, planners, architects and ecologists. This was a great opportunity to prepare for their A2 Decision-Making Paper which requires them to explore different views on an issue and come to a decision. Students were encouraged to take part in an online survey to share their views on the project.”
