Our U14 Boys enjoyed one of their best days earlier this week, topping their group in the Ulster Blitz with wins against Larne, Slemish and Newtonhamilton and a draw with Strangford. This performance was very much the culmination of their hard work over the past three years, learning from previous games and bonding as a team. The boys made Mr Hanna a very proud coach.
There were great performances across the park, including Dara McGrath at full back, as well as the attacking threat posed by Daniel Murray, James McCann and Jack White. Player of the tournament, however, was Brady Donaghy, typically leading by example, making tackles and scoring tries.
We look forward to playing in our first finals the week after next.
