Last Thursday, our Senior Netballers played a competitive match today against a strong Regent House team, eventually going down 26-19. This was an achievement in itself as many of the girls are in the Intermediate team playing at a senior level.
The attacking players were ably led by Mila Astruc-Kidd, who along with Parisa Susay-Quinn and Bridie Gribben, provided the shooters, Hope Sherlock, Lucy Mc Grady and Anna Stannett, with excellent scoring opportunities. The defensive players, Evie Gorman, Rachel Hodge (captain), Mikaela Hanna, Niamh Watson and Lucy Shiells, also worked hard to thwart the Regent attack.
Well done to all the players, who represented Shimna with great pride and determination.
