Credit to our colleague Davina Callen who has overseen an inspiring project over the past 18 months. Starting out as a weaving project celebrating our 30th anniversary celebrations, a community tapestry has gradually taken shape, bringing together staff and students to create an image of the sea, beach, the Mourne mountains and a small part of Murlough House - site of our original school in 1994. Shimna’s MVP was Year 14 student Damien Rooney ( to be fair, it runs in the blood ), with a mighty hit worthy of a home run.
