Students and staff take the time to reflect on the meaning of remembrance
This morning, the College community came together for a series of special assemblies. In keeping with our integrated ethos, it was an opportunity for students and staff to reflect on the meaning of remembrance in a mutually respectful manner. Shimna EcoClub planting the seeds for a greener future
Great to see our EcoClub making such good use of our new greenhouse, now that the structure is finally complete and sealed. Before the break, club members met over break times for pumpkin carving the week before Halloween. Planting has now begun, using a range of plants which have been either donated or foraged. This includes the pumpkins seeds from this year’s carving, as well as scotch pine, acorn and chestnut trees. Winter bulbs have also been potted, which the club intend

Successful league outing for Shimna netballers
Ms Doyle writes: “The intermediate team enjoyed a great start to their league campaign today, with a convincing 13-6 win over Cookstown High School. Great teamwork and determination were shown by all the players. Mr McCormick writes: “Today, our U14 Gaelic footballers travelled to Sally gardens in Belfast for their quarter-final tie with St Patrick's Dungiven. Initial prospects looked unpromising.
