Thank you for supporting NIBTS
Thank you to everyone who took part on Wednesday in another hugely successful NIBTS session in school. We had lots of people donating for the first time, as well as raising awareness if this vital organisation - https://nibts.hscni.net/ Lynn from NIBTS contacted the College to say: “we lifted 71 units, which equates to 213 lives saved. Young Senior Netballers perform bravely in Ulster Shield Semi-Final

Model Railway Club steaming along

The Club meets after school on a Wednesday in the Art Department.

The game started with both schools going back and forth for the first 5 minutes with Evie and Katie the scorers for Shimna. Shimna then burst into gear and two quick goals from Robyn gave Shimna a commanding lead. Shimna continued to keep

Shimna girls shine in IFA Girls’ Football Festival
Our girls’ Year 8 and 9 football team did the College proud in the IFA Festival of Football, held in wintry conditions at the Donard Park ground yesterday. They were unbeaten in six games, winning five and drawing one against teams from Kilkeel, St Louis, Newry High and Dromore. Our girls demonstrated skill, composure on the ball and great teamwork throughout. Evie, Abbie and Caoimhe were solid in defence and quick to bring the ball forward, while Kacie enjoyed a superb day
