Top NI award for A Level Economics students
The winners of the NI Young Economist of the Year competition were announced at Ulster University Belfast Campus on Wednesday 21 January. Organised by NI Schools Hub, all entries were judged by the Ulster University Business School academics, ensuring a fair and anonymous awarding process. Table Tennis Team impress on Ulster debut
Our newly formed U13 Boys’ team travelled to the Racquets Club in Lisburn to take part in the Ulster Post-Primary Schools Table Tennis Finals. Captained by Reece, the team of Year 8 and 9 students included Levon, Elijah, Robbie, Darragh and Jonah. Year 10 students explore online security with Cyberfirst
Yesterday, our Year 10 students took part in an ICT Day hosted by CyberFirst. All students were able to take part in 4 interactive workshops and gain a valuable insight into Cyber Security in various real-life settings. The workshops included PSNI Cyber Escape Rooms, CyberFirst Enigma challenges, Mbots and coding, as well as talks on AI, and its influence in the industry. Netballers enjoy success in final fixtures of the season
The girls enjoyed a very competitive morning of netball at Ballyholland C.C. Shimna played against St. Mark’s and St. Louis in the final League games of the season.
