Today, we are celebrating the outstanding achievements of our Sixth Form students. Shimna continues to perform at a very high level across A Level and BTEC, with 35.4% of the grades awarded at A* and A, comfortably above the Northern Ireland average of 30.7%. Great to see so many of our students, parents and carers in school first thing to collect results. There were nerves and excitement a plenty in the air. Our Year 14 have done themselves and the College proud. With over a third of grades at A* and A and over hald A8 to B, there has been plenty to celebrate. This year’s Summer Scheme has concluded after a fantastic fortnight of fun and sunshine. Making the most of our incredible facilities, the children took part in a wide range of activities, including: ⚽ Football 🏏 Cricket 🤾 Handball 🏀 Basketball 🥎 Rounders 🏐 Benchball 💥 Dodgeball They also enjoyed drama games, script work, character development, and quizzes, with plenty of fun, creativity and laughter along the way.
