A massive congratulations to fourteen of our Year 11 boys who kept the bike going all through the school day to raise funds for local charity, The Well. The boys rode hard for half an hour each, clocking up a total of 157.32 km in just over 6 hours, the equivalent of the journey to Dublin, with a few km to spare. Last week, Year 14 students Ana and Mischa joined 300 delegates at the National Youth Conference in Birmingham, representing Northern Ireland. The conference theme, ‘Use Your Voice’, was about promoting an international campaign for young people to share ideas on how to bring positive change in their communities and beyond. Having led 11 goals to 5 at half time, our team struggled to deal with a tremendous rally by Sullivan in the third quarter, eventually losing out 17-16.
