Eabha to have shot at All-Ireland’s
Congratulations to Eabha who qualified for the All-Ireland’s Senior Girls Shot with a strong performance at the Ulster Championships on Saturday. This is a fitting reward for Eabha who has served as Sports Leader in this year’s Student Leadership Team. Well done as well to Evie and Kari who both finished fourth in shot and 15000m. Shimna athletes qualify for All-Irelands
Congratulations to Eve and Aoife who have today qualified for the All-Ireland Athletics Championships. Eve won the Junior Girls Long Jump with a PB of 5.04 m. She was also second in the Junior Girls 75 m Hurdles. Aoife came third in the Junior Girls 1200m Walk. Other Shimna students competing today were Parisa, who finished 6th in the Junior Girls 800m.
