Shimna students sweep the board in rowing regatta
Congratulations to the nine students who earned gold medals rowing for the Dundrum Coastal Club at the St Ayles Skiffie Fest Regatta over the weekend. It was a great achievement and a very proud moment for the students, the club and the wider community. The medallists were: left to right, clockwise: Rose, Mya, Maria, Ellen, Anna, Helen, Niamh, Jamie, Lucy The students are now preparing for the World Championships in July. It will be held off the coast of Stranraer in Scotland

Shimna students compete in All-Ireland Athletics Championships
Well done to Aoife, Eabha and Eve who performed admirably in the All-Ireland Athletics Championships at the weekend. Eabha finished 6thin the senior girls shot, Eve was 6th in the Junior Girls Long Jump. Eve also finished just outside the top six in the Junior Girls Hurdles, as did Aoife in the Junior Girls 1200m Walk We congratulate the girls on their achievement in competing at a national level.
