She now qualifies for the Irish development squad. at the Celtic International Championships. Netball teams enjoy busy week of competition
On Wednesday, our Senior Girls played very competitively in their Blitz, defeating Grosvenor G.S. but narrowly losing out to Down High and Sullivan G.S. This was an encouraging start to our netball season and our new players, Megan, Rose, Ciara, Abigail and Zara, are a great asset to the Shimna Netball Club.The Minor girls also had a positive start, winning against St. Mary’s Newry and Down High, drawing with St. Mark’s and losing to St. Malachy’s.
