Year 8 boys make competitive rugby debut
Mr Hanna writes: “Yesterday, our Year 8 boys played in their first competitive rugby blitz of the season at Portadown Rugby Club. We brought 26 students, many of whom were experiencing full contact rugby for the first time. There were standout performances from Jamie, who finished the game as our top try scorer with 3 tries, and Thomas, who scored the try of the tournament with a run from his own half, beating multiple players before touching down in the corner. Shimna students shine in cross-country event
The students enjoyed a great day of cross-country racing at St. Malachy’s H.S. It was a beautiful, sunny, cold day - perfect for running and our students did not disappoint.
