Shimna students at the Gaeltacht

Mr Keenan, Head of Irish at the College, writes: “Some of our Year 9 and Year 10 Irish students are currently enjoying themselves at the Gaeltacht in Donegal. They are there for 3 weeks, staying with local families and spending their days learning Irish, music, dance and of course, having a great time socialising with students from all over Ireland. They finish the course this coming Sunday and there is sure to be plenty of tears as they say goodbye to their new-found friends for life.
