Well done to Year 11 student Zara who is organising our inaugural Shimna Chess Championship, which will take place in the Library next Wednesday morning. Students can sign up in the Library at breaktime on Monday and Tuesday.

Thanks to Year 9 student Cruz for travelling to Newry to present a cheque to USPCA’s Siobhan McHaffie, Director of Operations, and Gareth Moore, Fundraising Manager. The donation was drawn from the proceeds of our Talent Show last term and it was Cruz who nominated the USPCA.
