Congratulations to Jack 8B for his winning entry in the Lions International Peace Poster competition. Lions’ Vice District Governor Marian McGreevy presented Jack with his prize and framed certificate in last week’s Year 8 Achievement assembly.

Mr Milligan writes: “The girl’s football season kicked off with a home cup tie for the U13s against Nendrum College yesterday. After a few weeks of training, it was time to put the hard work into practice. The game started with a team talk from Shimna captain Sophie who encouraged and inspired from the first whistle. We took the lead thanks to a stunning individual goal by Isabella who carried the ball from her own half to score in the top corner. We went in at half time 1-1.
